This post was suggested to me as my Today’s Daily Recommended Post. (Not sure with the name. 😅)
I didn’t know I could get alarms for things like this when I first signed up to this!
So I decided to leave some short comments and summaries of the posts I’ll get to read as far as I understood.
Thought it would be a good chance to develop my English skills as well as some knowledges in my areas of interest, such as Computer Engineering, Design, Music Industries .. and more.
so,
a short summary
: Tons of designers’s portfolios are so clean and perfect. It just contains a linear work processes and case studys, which makes their portfolios unattractive. In this post, the author calls them a “cookie-cutter”.
Don’t hide the messy and dirty part of your work process. No design can come out of a clean, linear process. Storytelling about how you made mistakes, some wrong designs, and etc. is important and that is the part that makes your resume attractive!
